Santa’s Favorite Reindeer Plate

Create a whimsical serving piece featuring one of Santa’s favorite team members. This friendly reindeer design awaits your creativity for a useful plate you’ll love to use year to year.

1. Wipe plate with damp sponge to remove bisque dust.
2. Trace mouth and cheeks on tracing paper.
3. Pencil over lines on reverse side and trace over to transfer. *If circle template is available, draw circles on cheeks.
4. Brush three coats of Light Ginger on antlers. Let dry.
5. Brush three coats of Bright Brown on reindeer and outer ears. Let dry.
6. Brush three coats of Light Pink inside ears and cheeks. Let dry.
7. Paint eyes, nose and mouth with Black.  Let dry.
8. If desired, lightly sketch ¼” rim on outer plate. 
9. Paint rim and back of plate with three coats Neon Red. Let dry.
10. Stilt and fire to cone 06
11. Brush one coat Pure Brilliance to non-painted (bisque) areas to front of plate.  Let dry.
12. Brush a second coat over entire plate. Let dry.
13. Stilt and fire to cone 06.
