AMACO Potter’s Choice Glaze PC-13 – Serpentine Green | Cone 5-6

PC-13 Serpentine Green is a semi-matte soft green glaze that breaks light blue over texture.  This glaze layers nicely over AMACO Celadons, Potter’s Choice and Satin Matte glazes.  Fired results may run if layered with a runny glaze.  Therefore we always recommend using a test tile to see results, before applying the glaze to your ware.  This will help to prevent mistakes.

For best results, do not thin the glaze and apply 3 brush coats to Cone 04 stoneware bisque.
Glaze fire to Cone 5-6.  Due to variations in raw materials used during manufacturing, we recommend firing glazed test tiles before using each new batch number of glaze.  Serpentine does come with a safety warning.  Due to variations in firing temperature and possible contamination, tableware producers must test all finished ware to establish dinnerware status.
