PC-26 Blue Lagoon captures the essence of layered coastal tones with a fluid blend of blue and green variation. Designed for cone 5–6 firing, this glaze is part of the Potter’s Choice line known for its responsiveness to texture, application thickness, and kiln conditions.

Blue Lagoon typically develops a rich aquatic palette that shifts between blue, teal, and green depending on how heavily it is applied. Thinner areas tend to appear lighter and more translucent, while thicker applications deepen into saturated lagoon-like tones. This variation gives the surface a natural, water-inspired movement.

On textured pieces, the glaze breaks over edges, revealing lighter highlights that contrast with deeper pooled areas. This interaction enhances carved details and adds dimensional interest to both functional and sculptural ceramics.

Pooling is a key feature of Blue Lagoon, particularly in recessed or carved areas where color intensifies and develops richer depth. These effects are organic rather than uniform, contributing to the handmade character of each piece.
