Cone 06 Results

At cone 06, Pink-A-Boo produces a rich, heavily pigmented pink color with a glossy finish. One coat creates a translucent effect, while three coats provide full opacity and all-over coverage. A clear glaze is not required to achieve a glossy surface.

Cone 6 Results

At cone 6, Pink-A-Boo becomes more transparent, and streaky, with a lighter overall appearance. As with all mid-range firings, testing is recommended to determine the desired results for your specific clay body and kiln conditions.

Application Tips

Apply one coat for a translucent effect or three coats for full opacity. Allow each coat to dry before applying the next. Stroke & Coat can be thinned with water or media to create watercolor and wash effects.
