Mayco Fundamentals Underglaze UG-087 Regal Purple | Cobe 04-10

UG087 Regal Purple is a vibrant bright purple that can be applied to clay or bisque.

It initially fires to a dull matte because it is not a glaze. You then glaze it with the appropriate glaze for the clay body that you are using for your project.

Mayco underglazes can be used on both low fire and mid-range clay and can also be applied to greenware or bisque and produces a beautiful solid coverage and is also great for design work.

Cone 06: Regal Purple will fire matte without addition of a clear glaze. To intensify color or for use on dinnerware, apply clear or matte clear glaze.

Cone 6: Remains purple shifts to a warmer hue. Recommended clear glaze is SW-001 Stoneware Clear: Color concentration occurs.
