Mayco’s Stoneware Specialty glazes were developed for special
effects and surface depth.

MUDCRACK, MAGMA & CRACKLE

Magma and
Mud-crack create a raised surface texture that adds tactility to the
decoration. Crackle White and Crackle Matte Clear create a crackled pattern
that has traditionally been used to create a vintage or antique appeal.

Engobes

Engobes, are a great option for those that want
the look of other clay bodies, but don’t want to add another clay to their
studio because of contamination or even because of how other clays perform.

Engobes eliminate those issues and allow you to have the look of a different
clay body whenever you feel like it!
