Mud Tools Diamond Burr 5/32 Sharpening Tool
We love to cut through clay with a blade. That is why we use carbon steel for our carving and trimming tools. Carbon steel holds the best edge when used with clay. But with use, the edge will eventually dull.
These Diamond Sharpening Burrs are perfect for putting the edge back on your favorite blade. Use this burr bit with a Dremel, flex shaft or drill that holds an 1/8â³ shaft. The burrs have a fine coating of diamond dust so they cut quickly and smoothly through the metal. Look for a slight bevel on one side of your tool’s edge, this is the sharpened side and should be the side that you use the Diamond Burr on. A light pass over this sharpened side should be enough to re-sharpen most blades.
The 5/32 is best for the Drag Tool and the 7/32 on the Do All Tool and Petal Knifes.
The diamond burr is to be used with a Dremel, flex shaft or drill.
