Mayco Foundation Sheer FN-208 Crystal Coral Glaze | Cone 06

Foundations Crystal Coral Sheer Glaze is a transparent glaze which allow other colors painted under the glaze to shine thru and can also give the appearance of self-antiquing as it has a tendency to high light your design work.

As with all foundation glazes, which do not run, you should apply smooth even coats with proper drying time to ensure that your color comes out even.

You can easily use the sheers in combination with EZ Strokes and Stroke & Coat products painted under the sheer glaze or on top of the glaze as the sheers are not opaque.

Although, the foundations are intermixable, I do not recommend mixing the Sheer Foundation Glazes as they perform best as a stand alone color.

Cone 06: This soft translucent coral glaze adds a tint of color to your work, allowing surface textures or design to show through.

Cone 6: Color completely fades.

Stroke & Coat glazes are certified AP non-toxic and food safe.

General Use

Foundations sheer glazes were designed to mature at shelf cone 06/05. Apply 2-3 coats, allowing surface to dry in-between coats. When applying to a large surface, we recommend a broad, soft brush such as CB-604 #4 Soft Fan.

Foundations dry quickly for same day firing

Many Foundations can be fired to higher temperatures and still maintain their color.Check the individual color label for performance at cone 6

Steadfast Application – Foundations will not dissolve or pick up previous coats of glaze

Dries Quickly – speeds up your ability to handle or perform additional decorating

High Gloss Finish – does not need to be clear glazed (except Foundations Matte glazes)
