Out of this World Rocket Ship Bank

Watch your creativity blast off when you add color to the Duncan® Oh Four® Rocket Bank. The possibilities are out of this world when you let Duncan® Concepts® colors fuel your imagination! 

Instructions:

1. Wipe rocket with damp sponge to remove bisque dust.

2. Place piece of tape over coin slot and remove rubber stopper on bottom of bank.

3. Pour some Pure Brilliance into hole and roll around to coat inside of bank. Pour out excess into a clean container. Let dry and remove tape.

4. Trace “USA” on tissue using pencil.

5. Lay tracing on side of rocket above one of the stands next to the round window.  (Refer to photo.) Trace over letters using the black marker. Repeat on the other side of window.

6. Brush three coats Light Grey to the main body and base of ship. Let dry.

7. Brush three coats Neon Red to nosecone at top and the outer circle of window.  Let dry.

8. Brush three coats Neon Red in “U”, leave “S” white bisque, and paint three coats Blue Sapphire in “A”. Let dry.

9. Brush the four rocket stands with three coats Neon Red and Blue Sapphire leaving white stripe in between. Let dry.

10. Lightly brush one coat Pure Brilliance to rocket and base. Let dry.

11. Stilt on kiln shelf and fire to cone 06.
