Worldly Inspiration Bank

Even your spare change can make a difference! With a little creativity you can make a savings destination for your worldly efforts! Start with the Duncan® Oh Four® round bank, use Duncan® color to add the continents, oceans and a clever saying and you’re ready to start saving to save the earth!

Remove rubber stopper on bottom of bank. Wipe bank with damp sponge to remove bisque dust.

Trace continents on a piece of contact paper. Cut out.

Remove backing from cut outs and position continents on bank. Make sure edges are well sealed.

If desired run tape under globe to keep paint from dripping onto pedestal.

Sponge or brush three coats Bright Sapphire to globe. Let dry.

Remove contact paper cut outs.

Using French Dimensions outline the following: North America and Asia with French Straw; South America, Europe and Australia with French Papaya; Africa with French Kiwi. Let dry.

OPTION: If preferred, use Liner brush dipped in Black to make outlines around continents. Let dry.

Paint three coats Dark Straw inside North America and Asia; three coats Light Kiwi in Africa and French Papaya in South America, Europe and Australia. Let dry thoroughly.

Brush three coats Dark Straw to base and under base if desired. Let dry thoroughly.

Use Black to write, “Make the World a Better Place” around the base of bank. Transfer pattern with tracing paper or freehand as desired.

Brush a light coat of Pure Brilliance to globe and base. Let dry.

Stilt on kiln shelf and fire to cone 06.
